‘Dear Barlborough Life, I was listening to a radio 4 programme on my travels today. Apparently a MPs income places them in the top 8% of earners in this country. In real terms 92% of the population earn less than Denis Skinner. That figure does not include extra expenses such as £400.00 for food or anything else. If one were to include the ‘extra expenses’ into the equation, the average MPs earnings would be in the top 98% of the population.’
And Denis calls himself a ‘man of the people’ — is this misrepresentation or is it propaganda at it’s best.’ Contact details supplied.
