Crags up for design Oscar
The new museum and education centre at Creswell Crags has been shortlisted for an award in the nation’s top competition for architecture from the Royal Institute of British Architects.
Home to a stunning collection of Ice Age artefacts and designed by OMI Architects, the centre features an exhibition hall, library, laboratory, education suite, collection store, offices, café and bookshop.
The RIBA Awards are presented annually to the best new buildings across the UK, recognising excellence in architectural design.
The winners are due to be announced in May.
