Bolsover District Council Can’t Even Count…

Confusion over windfarm plans
Published on Monday 21 January 2013 12:50
A FIRM which runs windfarms is seeking clarification over a proposed site at Losk Lane near Bolsover – after ‘confusion’ about a planning application decision.
Phil Dyke, development director at Banks Renewables, said: “There was a degree of confusion over votes in the meeting, and whether a final decision on our application was actually reached.
“We’re currently seeking clarification from the council about its view.”

The company claims a windfarm would bring added benefits to Bolsover, from new jobs and £1.5m of business opportunities to a £50,000 ‘Warm Zone’ scheme of cavity wall insulation and loft insulation for local householders
