New Road In The News Again!

The Worksop Guardian reports today that Paul Creswick from New Road in Barlborough has been convicted of stealing 5 manhole covers worth £790 from Woodall Service Station. He was ordered to do 80 hours unpaid work and given a curfew from 7pm to 7am for the next 10 weeks. Mr Creswick also had a lapse of memory when he told the police his Vauxhall Vectra had been scrapped. In fact, it hadn’t and the car had to be ‘forfeited’ because it was used in the crime. Durrhhh!

Mr Creswick was caught down Sidey Lane (in Barlborough) with the manhole covers, that well known fly tipping hot spot. Top marks for the police again for doing a fabulous job.
